Bike Fit Services

Colorado Multisport offers fits tailored to your individual needs. Whether it’s looking at your fit from the fresh perspective of a private studio session or getting to the bottom of a troublesome region, CMS is your fit solution. Plan to spend about 1.5-2 hrs with your fit specialist as they dial you in.

Below are the bike fitting services we offer to make your cycling goals come true and your concerns of discomfort/pain disappear:

True 3D Retul Motion Capture Bike Fit on Existing Bike: $275 (our most popular service)

Includes:

-      10-15min interview process to learn more about you and your needs

-      Biomechanical analysis of your body on and off the bike

-      Cycling-specific flexibility/functional strength assessment

-      Dynamic data capture of 3D full body movements to determine optimal position

-      Real-time recording of power output and physiologic response to help determine optimal position

-      Comprehensive digital reports of 3D and 2D body parameters, 3D bicycle fit coordinates, and bike frame geometry

** An additional bicycle is priced at $175 when bikes are fit consecutively (for example road and mountain bikes fit back to back)

Includes:

-      Frame Finder bike compatibility analysis and report for applicable bike lines

** For bikes purchased within three weeks of the initial fitting, a $200 credit will be awarded.

Frame Finder or Bike Selection Consultation: $150

If you know your riding position, or like the position on your current setup (no fit required) a consultation is available to help select a properly fitting new bike, including frame size and parts/styles.  This will allow the rider to select a properly fitting bike before a purchase is made, and avoid purchasing the wrong bike.

** For bikes purchased from Colorado Multisport within three weeks of the consultation, a full $150 credit for the consultation fee will be given.

Follow-Up: $150/Hour (half hour minimum)

A follow-up appointment is available for clients who have already been through a CMS fitting, and are in need of adjustment. A follow-up appointment is appropriate for a bike that has been fit by CMS within one year prior to the follow-up appointment date. A follow-up appointment is appropriate for part changes and recommendations.  2D or 3D Motion capture may or may not be used.

Regional Appointment: $150/Hour (half hour minimum)

A regional appointment is used sparingly by Colorado Multisport. However if you are confident the position is great, but just want to address point tenderness/numbness issues with the saddle or the foot/pedal interface, then a regional appointment may be scheduled.  No motion capture will be used. These appointments must be made over the phone or in person with the fitters.  If it appears there are more issues with the fit that are causing the regional concern, the fitter may suggest a 3D Motion Capture Bike Fit.  The cost of the regional appointment will be deducted from the 3D fitting if done within three weeks.

CMS Junior Bike Fits (18 or younger)

At CMS, we understand that bike fitting at the Junior level is instrumental in creating valuable muscle memory while achieving a safe position for the long term health of the developing young rider.  We are also sensitive to the expense of youth oriented recreation and racing.  We offer all our advanced 3D Retul fit services at 50% off for riders 18 and under, and also a 2D/static CMS Junior Fit for $95.
